Hello! My name is Nando. I’ve been serving in ministry for over 15 years. I’m a Texas native but have lived in Wisconsin since 2012, where I met my wife, Lindsey. Currently, I serve as the Lead Worship Pastor at Life Church in Milwaukee, WI, overseeing worship staff and teams across four locations. In addition to leading worship environments, I also function as a creative liaison, providing strategic direction for all the church’s ministries.

When I first stepped into ministry, I felt a clear calling to worship, but over the years, I’ve worn many hats—graphic designer, marketing director, executive pastor, and more. These roles weren’t just titles I pursued; they were a reflection of my personal adaptability. I’ve always been willing to stretch myself to meet the needs of the organization, and in doing so, I’ve developed a diverse skill set.

While worship leadership remains central to my calling, I’ve discovered that my greatest strength lies in team building and leadership development. I do this by creating honest, candid environments where teams are encouraged to ask questions and give feedback, develop practical skills, and find their creative expression.

According to Gallup’s StrengthsFinder, I’m a visionary (pioneer), which influences how I lead—I take creative yet calculated risks, whether with people or the programs they’re part of. Because of this strength, I approach creativity through a structured, systematic lens, rather than just as an art form. This perspective has allowed me to serve as a consultant and coach to several creative ministries and churches throughout the years, equipping them for long-term impact.

Beyond serving the local church, I have a deep passion for the broader worship community. Over the last decade, I’ve fine-tuned my ability to write, produce, and build artist brands. Most notably, I helped establish Life Church Music,which reaches nearly 100,000 monthly listeners and garners nearly 4 million streams annually. But while the numbers are exciting, my greatest joy comes from sharing the story with likeminded individuals, fostering relationships, and building networks that strengthen both the local and global church.

Now, my wife and I, along with our daughters, Zara and Camila, are seeking a new place to plant roots and build up the church once again. After 12 years at our church, we believe we have faithfully prepared it for its next season, just as we know the Lord has been preparing us for ours.
